There’s Simply “Nothing Like It On The Market,” Notes One Judge
WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 27, 2017) – MobyMax, innovator of the award-winning personalized and blended learning curriculum for K-8 students, was named the Best PreK/Early Childhood Learning Solution and Best Cloud-Based Solution of 2017 as part of the annual SIIA CODiE Awards. The awards recognize Mobymax’s unique achievements in developing groundbreaking educational software, digital content, online learning services, and related technologies across the PreK-8 sector. They also implicitly acknowledge MobyMax’s rapid rise to the top of the field, as CODiE Award recipients are known for producing the most innovative education technology products in the U.S. and around the world.
“We are thrilled to be included in this elite group of CODiE Award recipients,” said MobyMax co-founder Glynn Willett. “Moby is made for teachers, and tens of thousands of them have made it no secret how much they love the program. But to be recognized by our professional peers further validates the unique niche our company fills for students, classrooms, and schools.”
“I have not seen anything this comprehensive for PreK or Early Childhood,” noted one judge. “As an all-in-one offering, MobyMax features extensive reporting and data analysis on student learning, plus motivational features kids love, like behavior vibes, contests, and more.” Said another judge, “the designers have thought of it all!”
During the nomination process, MobyMax’s early learning curriculum was recognized for being highly “engaging…organized, detailed, and developmentally appropriate,” as well as “customizable to meet the needs of diverse students, allowing each student to move at their own pace.” The MobyMax early learning curriculum includes Phonics and Spelling Rules, Alphabet, Phonic Sounds, Phonics Blending, Phonics Spelling, Foundational Reading, Early Reading Trio, Sight Words, Early Math, Number Sense, Fact Fluency, Early Science, and Early Social Studies.
MobyMax’s cloud-based solution was also recognized being “engaging” as well as cost-effective, and for providing many reporting options. These features give teachers the ability to drill down to specific questions an individual student misses, making the product “hugely useful” for dealing with IEP/504 plans and tutoring.
"SIIA’s 2017 Education Technology CODiE Award winners were an amazing group this year, and demonstrated how these technologies are making an impact for students, faculty and administration,” said Bridget Foster, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA. “Each honoree deserves accolades, and we are pleased to add our congratulations to all of this year’s CODiE Award winners."
SIIA, the Software & Information Industry Association is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries. They revealed their award recipients during the annual Education Impact Symposium in San Francisco. Thirty-five awards were given for products and services deployed specifically for education and learning professionals.
An SIIA CODiE Award is a hard-won accolade. Finalists were selected by a bevy of educators and administrators. SIIA members and other industry experts then reviewed the evaluations and chose the 2017 winners.
