June 13, 2017 – MobyMax, innovator of award-winning personalized and blended learning curriculum for K-8 students, has been named a 2017 SIIA CODiE Award finalist in two prominent categories: Best Cloud-Based Solution and Best PreK/Early Childhood Learning Solution. The award nominations recognize MobyMax’s unique achievements in developing groundbreaking educational software, digital content, online learning services, and related technologies across the PreK-20 sector.

“It is gratifying to be commended for our success in helping teachers easily find and fix learning gaps in all K-8 subjects,” said MobyMax co-founder Glynn Willett. “Tens of thousands of teachers have told us how much they love the differentiation and individualization MobyMax makes possible for every student. This nomination acknowledges how critical it is for teachers to have this capability.”

MobyMax recently expanded its early elementary curriculum by adding seven new phonics and reading modules to an already comprehensive suite of tools. For early learning, MobyMax now includes for Phonics and Spelling Rules, Alphabet, Phonic Sounds, Phonics Blending, Phonics Spelling, Foundational Reading, Early Reading Trio, Sight Words, Early Math, Number Sense, Fact Fluency, Early Science, and Early Social Studies. These innovations are helping MobyMax achieve its ambitious mission to “enable children everywhere to learn twice as fast, any time, on any device.”

Why MobyMax Was Nominated for Best Education Cloud-Based Solution

Judges in this category praised MobyMax’s cost-effectiveness as well as the many reporting options offered. They also acknowledged the product’s “customizability,” which gives teachers the ability to drill down to the specific questions an individual student misses. Judges found this individualization “hugely useful” for dealing with IEP/504 plans and tutoring, noting that “the student-motivation features…really work with kids.”

Why MobyMax Was Nominated for Best PreK/Early Childhood Learning Solution

In addition to being very easy to use for teachers, parents, and children alike, MobyMax’s PreK/Early Childhood curriculum was recognized as highly “engaging…organized, detailed and developmentally appropriate.” MobyMax’s early learning program also stood out for being “customizable to meet the needs of diverse students.” Judges found “the exciting contests and feedback from teachers and parents on their Facebook page are an added plus,” along with the valuable reports generated and ease of integrating the program in the classroom.
