    Oct 17, 2018 – MobyMax’s proprietary system for helping struggling students master reading and language arts has been recognized with ComputED Gazette EDDIE Awards for Best Language Arts Software and Best Early Reading Website. These awards “target innovative and content-rich programs and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence.”

    The MobyMax Language Arts system finds and fixes missing essential language and grammar skills. Its comprehensive curriculum encompasses 16 ELA subjects, including reading, language, vocabulary, grammar, spelling, alphabet, phonics, and early reading. Independent research analysis of 4,000 students using MobyMax in 230 U.S. classrooms showed students gained one grade level after using MobyMax Language for only 30 minutes per week.

    New Study Shows That Students Using MobyMax Math Make 53% More Progress

    Sept 26, 2018 - A large-scale research study of 4,000 students in 230 U.S. classrooms has shown that using MobyMax Math for less than 20 minutes per day enables students to advance as much as one full school year.

    The study, conducted in the first quarter of 2018 by an independent panel of data science experts, determined that students using MobyMax Math experienced a 53% improvement over students in the control group who did not use MobyMax.

    The study results offer particular hope for students who are below grade level and need to catch up quickly and effectively.     Study of 4,000 Students Shows a Gain of One Grade Level After 30 Minutes of MobyMax Language Per Week

    Sept 12, 2018 - A study of more than 4,000 students from 230 randomly selected U.S. classrooms concluded that students who spent just 20 hours using MobyMax increased a full grade level more than students in the same classroom who did not use MobyMax.

    “The study results validate the MobyMax method,” said company co-founder Glynn Willett. “Using laser-focused tools like those in MobyMax Suite to ‘find and fix’ individual students’ learning gaps is the most efficient and effective way to help students achieve.”

    Three of the findings are particularly relevant to teachers who are strapped for time or whose students are all at different levels.

    • First, the gain in student proficiency came from learning and practice that students were completing on their own, without any additional work required from the teacher.
    • Second, students in a class were able to work on different grade levels based on their individual needs without needing constant teacher oversight.
    • Third, students using MobyMax were able to fix missing skills from prior grade levels without requiring the teacher to provide that instruction. This improved students’ ability to keep up with current instruction in class without the teacher preparing additional lesson plans.
